On Friday, it became clear that Nikolai Skuseth is leaving Molde Football Club in favor of Ranheim.

The 19-year-old has played all his life in MFK and in the last season was captain of Molde 2 in the 3rd division.

Only a few months ago, the 197-centimeter-tall centre-back turned down a professional contract with the Italian second division club SPAL. Then he said in an interview with Rbnett that he thought it was right to bet with MFK until further notice, so now he has signed for the Obos league club Ranheim.

Ranheim coach Kåre Ingebrigtsen is impressed by the talent.

– He is already a good footballer, and a good centre-back. We see him as a great talent, and therefore we want to get him here, says Kåre Ingebrigtsen in an interview with Adresseavisen .

– He has the prerequisites. He is 1.97m tall, has good speed and went to a good school in the academy in Molde. In addition, he is good with the ball, has a good right foot and dares to go through joints and challenge with the ball. We know we are getting a good player, and he will get a shorter route into senior football, says Ingebrigtsen.

Nikolai Skuseth has signed an agreement with the Trondheim club that extends to the 2025 season.
