We can say with great pleasure that the talent from Vigør is now ready for Jerv. Georg Esperaas Dirdal (18) is listed with 32 games for the A team, which leads the table in the 4th division! Vigør won a total of 10 games and has two draws and is unbeaten. What can also be noted is that Georg & Vigør have only conceded 12 goals in the season, which is the fewest in the league. 

What is it like to step up and sign your first professional contract for Jerv? 

– I received an offer to participate in Marbella. Ever since then, I’ve enjoyed myself very much and there’s no hiding the fact that I’ve always wanted to come to Jerv, if I had the chance!, says a satisfied Georg with a broad smile.

A lot of learning

– Øvretveit and Olsvoll have welcomed me very well since I first met them in Marbella. So I could always look at them and learn. You notice that they have trained at a higher level than I have. You notice little things and details that they practice on which in turn they help me with. They have always helped me, says Georg, who greatly appreciates the goalkeeping team who will work together in the future. 

What are your strengths as a goalkeeper?

– My strengths as a goalkeeper are reaction and dueling strength.

– There is much more intensity in the sessions and that requires more. Jerv has a higher standard and I will work hard to be ready to guard the cage if the opportunity arises!, says the young goalkeeper talent who is ready for Jerv for the next 1.5 years.
