Kristoffer Hoven came to Skeid in the summer of last year on loan from Sogndal. That autumn he was an important contributor in a good autumn season which ended with a renewed place in the OBOS league. Last winter, he announced a permanent transfer to us. Now we part ways a year later, where Kristoffer gets the opportunity in the Allsvenskan at Varberg BoIS.
In total, Kristoffer ends up with 24 games and 9 goals for Skeid, where his best performance probably came against Ranheim this year where he scored a hat trick.
– Kristoffer has been a good player for us, and now we are giving him the opportunity to try himself at the top level in Sweden, with that we have also succeeded in the goal for Kristoffer in Skeid, where he was able to restart his career and progress to higher level. When there are also good finances in the agreement, it is easy to agree, and then we do not want to stand in the way of players who can try their hand up a notch, says general manager Daniel Holmeide Strand.
Kristoffer himself was thanked by his teammates today, and will join Varberg tomorrow. He thanks everyone in and around Skeid and our audience for their support during his time at the club.
– At the same time that Kristoffer is leaving us, this opens up opportunities for new players to enter. We are actively working to strengthen the team, and hope to have good news about this before too long, concludes Daniel.
Good luck, and maybe we’ll see each other again in the future!
