Ranheim and Østersund FK yesterday agreed on a transfer for Simon Marklund. After 76 games since 1 April 2021, the Swede is taking a new direction in his football career. 

This spring we played a training match against our Swedish neighbours, a match Marklund played and marked himself by scoring and winning against Østersund. Marklund came from Kongsvinger, and now the trip goes a few hours further east to Østersund.

We thank Simon Marklund for his efforts in Ranheim over the past 2.5 years, and at the same time wish him all the best in Østersund. You are getting a fantastic player.
