Next weekend, Bryne is waiting at Høddvoll. Kevin Knappen’s team has not had the best start to the season and stands with 10 points after 12 games. In their last five league games, there has only been one point for Bryne, who has had quite a few injury problems this season. Among other things, Eirik Franke Saunes has been out of action since the end of April.
Saunes says that he has been out with a strain on the front of his thigh, but that he has been able to play more and more in recent weeks and that his body is starting to get closer to match-ready.
– If this week goes according to plan, I hope to be ready for the Hødd match, says Saunes, who adds that there are still some players in the Bryne squad who are struggling with injuries, but that the situation is about to improve and that more and several are back on the training field.
