– I have trained for a week with the team, and got a good impression of the playing squad and the coaching staff. They have welcomed me in a nice way. Now I’m really looking forward to getting started.
Sports director Magni Fannberg is happy to have the right-back in place, and boasts of his qualities both offensively and defensively.
– Kalle is a player that we have followed closely over a long period. He possesses qualities that add to our game both offensively and defensively and that add competition on the flanks, says sporting director Magni Fannberg about the new signing.
Wallius comes from the academy at Bologna, where he played until the summer of this year. After his contract with the Italian contract expired, he impressed in trials with us. The training stay has now been made permanent, and Wallius will play in yellow and black until 2026. Fannberg is satisfied with the qualities Wallius brings to the squad.
– He has a good crossing foot and a clear compliance in the defensive game. He is also at an age where we feel we can develop both him and our game to the next level, says IK Start sports manager Magni Fannberg about the 20-year-old.
Now they are working hard to get the 20-year-old ready to play for tomorrow’s match against Skeid.
