Huge potential

Lucas Lima (21) came to FFK from IFK Norrköping in the summer of 2022. The Swedish-Brazilian has played a lot for the red pants since then, but with increased competition this autumn and the opportunity to play an important role for Helsingborg in the autumn season, the choice fell on lend the power tip. 

“Lucas has enormous potential. His physique, speed and skills can take him far, but at the same time there are things he needs to develop in order to realize his full potential. We believe a loan to Helsingborg can be both exciting and useful for Lucas, and that he will come back even better in January”. Joacim Heier tells.

Devastating development

FFK now has a total of 4 players on loan in the OBOS league/Superettan, and a further 2 players in the Postnord league. It was not long ago that we ourselves played in the Postnord league, and the loans can therefore be seen as a sign of the FFK squad’s development. 

“The fact that we are in a position to loan out half a dozen of our top talents at this level, and still have a robust squad in Fredrikstad, is very positive. There are still young players such as Langbråten, Skaret, Woledzi, Hermansen, Maden and Konte in our squad, as well as the fact that the recruit team performs well in the 3rd division also when we field 15-16 year olds. These are good investments for the future of FFK, both sportingly and financially. It also shows that the quality of the FFK squad is developing , things are going in the right direction”. Concludes Cheers.
